LOVE STORIES
Hi everyone! I was reading back through the posts here looking for information and I noticed all the dating surveys that popped up! I know most people didn't really like seeing them, but I thought that there's no reason not to make the best of things, right? So Nana and I decided to match up everyone with a survey! It is so romantic to think of escaping from here to start your life with someone new! Love blossoming out of a terrible situation!!
Sorry if you don't like your match, it was kind of hard to figure out exactly what was accurate from what was printed. And if we missed you, or you'd like to be matched, too, just let us know!
So, without further ado!
Bill Adama/Laura Roslin (I know: duh, right?)
Jim Fenner/Ariana Osgood
Donna Noble/John Preston
Simon Tam/Savil Ashkevron
Grell Sutcliff/Soubi Agatsuma (here's your prince, Grell!)
Toshiko Sato/Sebastian Michaels
Lee Adama/Kara Thrace
Voldemort/Shell Dockley
Vergil Spard/Deitrich von Lohengrin
Nana Komatsu/Tsuzuki Asato
Hisoka Kurosaki/Remus Lupin

A magic rope is easier to untie than a regular rope.
There's no such thing as 'magical' type. Everyone can do magic if they want to.
You don't know very much about the world, do you?
no subject
I can't do magic. Unless I have a shen gong wu or something that has magical powers on it's own, but then it's the item, not me.
Um...I don't know.

Amulets and magical items are useful, but no substitute to doing it yourself. Reliance on things other than yourself and your potential is what limits you. Mere items can have magical properties but you can't?
I think your issues stem from your complete lack of self-worth.

You don't toss a stone with magic unless you're prepared to accept it will set off a chain reaction that will destroy the world. You don't kick the rock without accepting it could break your toe.
Does anyone think about whether you should move the rock at all?

Nooo, I can't. I'm a normal human. No magic. No powers. Maybe in the magical land you come from, people have magical abilities, but where I come from, most people don't.
So what, I'm worthless because I'm human and don't have magic?
no subject
You could, if you wanted to. If you believed in yourself enough to try to learn. Where you come from, do people dream? If they can dream, they have the ability to work magic.
Most people are worthless, and some of them can do magic. Your worth is calculated on a different scale than the ability to use magic. But it's not completely exclusive of it. It does factor in.

What does dreaming have to do with magic?
Riiight. That's kind of bigoted, you know, against non-magic people.
no subject
Dreams are where you prepare your mind for magic. They're the training grounds to being fully human.
There's no such thing as non-magic people. Only the willfully ignorant and perhaps vampires.
no subject
Uh-huh. And having magic is part of being fully human? Since when?
Is too.
no subject
Since always. Since the birth of humanity. And the knowledge was taken from you. You endure but you never grow into your potential. Always a tadpole in the pond, because growing legs is too difficult. Only you've forgotten you can have legs. I think if you grew them, you would cut them away like a tumor.
I wont be drawn into an "is, is not, is too" argument.
no subject
Right. You know, if I could have magic, I'd love it. I really would. Unfortunately, outside of your crazy, humans don't have magic. Sorry.
no subject
You could, if you wanted it. Humans have magic. Those who don't have have magic are less than human. Tell me, how do you know you don't have magic? What rules govern your thinking?
no subject
How do you know I do? I know because...because I've tried to do things I've seen magic types do when I'm in a room alone and I can't.
no subject
Had you considered that magic is nothing as simple as riding a bike? That it takes years and lifetimes to perfect? So because you can't perform what others can, it simply isn't possible?
no subject
Lifetimes? Uh...yeah, I only get the one lifetime. Sorry. And you can't really blame me for not managing to do something that it takes lifetimes to learn.
no subject
Well, it used to take less time, but now you need to unlearn everything you think you know and start from nothing, like infants. But if you want to learn, it's possible. Laziness is another issue.
